The exams for university entry (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) will start with registration on January 31, 2025. Registration ends on March 5, 2025. You must register at approved JAMB CBT Center.

- Mock UTME (Practice Exam):
- Sign-up for the mock exam ends: February 23, 2025
- Mock exam registration ends: March 8, 2025
- Mock exam date: April 5, 2025
- Main UTME (Main Exam): April 25, 2025 to May 5, 2025
- Direct Entry (DE) Applications: March 10, 2025 to April 7, 2025
New for 2025: Trial Mock Exam for Underage Students
If you won’t be 16 by September 30, 2025, you can take a “Trial Mock Exam” for practice. This lets you experience the exam before you’re old enough for the real one.
Different Registration Options and Costs:
You’ll need to choose the right type of registration and pay for it. There are four options:
- Trial Mock Exam only (for underage students): ₦3,500
- Direct Entry (DE) application: ₦5,700
- UTME only (no mock exam): ₦7,200
- UTME with mock exam: ₦8,700
