The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Zonal Office of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has kick-started preparations for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) registration.
The process began with a roundtable session to align staff on the need for professionalism and efficiency.
At a meeting held on Monday, January 6, 2025, the Director of the Abuja Zonal Office, Hajia Zainab Hamza, highlighted the importance of professionalism during the registration process. Addressing the staff, she stressed the need for respectful and fair treatment of all candidates.
“Let’s ensure that candidates are treated with respect and fairness throughout the registration process. Professional conduct is essential,” she said.
Hajia Hamza also cautioned staff to avoid any form of misconduct that could harm JAMB’s reputation. She urged them to uphold integrity and work towards a smooth and efficient registration process.
Ekiti State: Striving for Error-Free Registration
On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, the Ekiti State Coordinator, Mr. Olukayode Dada, held a meeting with staff to emphasize the need for discipline and punctuality. He urged everyone to work towards a seamless registration process, warning against unethical behaviors such as extortion, harassment, and loitering during work hours.
“Punctuality and focus are key to ensuring a smooth and error-free registration exercise,” Dada noted.
Ondo State: Focused on Quality Service
The Ondo State Coordinator, Mr. Fasasi Adebayo Subair, also held a sensitization session for staff at the Professional Registration Centre in Akure. During the program, he reiterated the importance of maintaining ethical standards and warned against any form of misconduct.
“This initiative is part of management’s effort to ensure a smooth and efficient 2025 UTME registration exercise in Ondo State,” Subair stated.
He emphasized that staff must deliver quality service while adhering to the Board’s values of professionalism and integrity.

Across all JAMB offices, the emphasis remains on:
